About Us

Hello, I’m Damien Nolan from the Home Instead Elmbridge and East Spelthorne office.

Since taking over the business over three years ago we have supported over 200 clients and their families in the local area. We have delivered bespoke care plans that have enabled many clients to remain independent in their home and access local facilities.

We have organised events that have supported hundreds of hours of support with things like cinema, garden events, afternoon teas, examples of this you can see on our events pages. Look out for our What's on Where (WOW) guide or ask through the office.

CQC recognised our ability (late last year) to be responsive with an Outstanding; this is something we would like to uphold. We have recently moved and upgraded our office to meet the continued requirements of our staff

As Home Instead we have supported a number of charities including Spelthorne Dementia Support, Marie Curie, and Alzheimer’s Society through fund raising.  Current total of approx. £5,500. Further fund raising is planned for this year!  Home Instead supports local schools through sponsorship – we are always open to ideas!

We want to continue to be known locally for delivering a high quality service that cares for each individual and caters to their family’s requirements. We work with clients and their families to deliver the best possible standard of care.  We pride ourselves on the initial assessment of needs and then tailor our services to meet their specific wants and needs.

Our minimum call time is an hour; we don’t believe you can deliver care, with the individual at the very heart, with any less time. We match a CAREGiver to each client based on mutual interests and hobbies. The same CAREGiver attends each call, so they can build a relationship with the client.

We work closely with different partners including doctors, hospitals, day centres and other care providers to ensure that we have as full a wrap around service as possible to cover social, medical and other care needs of the people we serve.

Currently the office covers Sunbury, Ashford, Shepperton in Spelthorne and Weybridge, Walton, Esher, Molesey, Cobham, Thames Ditton, Hersham, Claygate and Hinchley Wood in Elmbridge

More and more people are requesting the services locally as the access to companionship; home help, personal care or a mix of these is enabling families to lead fuller and better lives. Recent companionship visits now include supporting clients whom want to exercise through swimming for example.

Our loyal band of super CAREGivers is growing as we seek to build on the lovely, empathic, well trained and qualified staff we have and we are always looking to add to this so if you or someone you know are interested please give us a call on 01932 241 020.
