Will the new real living wage affect CAREGivers?
The Real Living Wage is totally different to the National Minimum Living Wage by £1.25 per hour outside of London. The National Minimum Wage is set by the government and is a legal requirement of all employers. The Real Living Wage is a voluntary wage level that is paid by employers who believe in paying a fair wage for a fairs days work.
Homecare company Home Instead Senior Care in Telford, Market Drayton, Newport and Bridgnorth is proud to say that we an accredited Real Living Wage employer.
But what could that mean for you?
Typically our wonderful Caregivers work on average 20 hours per week and compared to 20 hours per week for another care provider, or working in catering or retail, you could earn an extra £1300 per year which would be a wonderful holiday away in the sun, or if you worked an average of 35 hours per week, the extra you would earn at Home Instead would br £2275 which could buy a car.
So by joining our team, you would not only be joining the only homecare provider in Shropshire to have a CQC outstanding you would financially be much better off.
