Home Instead East Herts is delighted to sponsor the New Apton Centre’s community shuttle—branded “Reducing Loneliness — Encouraging Independence”—as part of our mission to support older adults across East Herts. This specially adapted minibus provides safe, comfortable door-to-door transport to and from the New Apton Centre day centre. Their friendly, DBS-checked drivers assist passengers aboard, handle mobility aids, and ensure continuity of care. Based at the New Apton Centre—where clients can enjoy a full programme of activities, including games, music sessions, breakfast and lunch clubs, quizzes, and our dedicated nail care room (run by Home Instead East Herts) open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm—the shuttle brings everyone back to a welcoming hub that nurtures social connection and well-being.
