Each day care plan gets built around the individual – their interests, abilities and what would genuinely enhance their wellbeing. For some clients in Thorne and Dunscroft, this includes reminiscence activities that bring comfort and spark memories, particularly beneficial for those living with dementia. Others appreciate rehabilitative sessions that help rebuild confidence and mobility after a hospital stay or health setback. Our minimum one-hour visits allow proper time for engagement rather than task-focused rushing, and our Care Professionals keep families updated through our care app about activities enjoyed, meals eaten, and any observations about mood or health.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of a unique mix of services to meet your needs.

Families tell us how much difference it makes knowing their loved one is genuinely enjoying company during the day. Suzanne W wrote on homecare.co.uk how her mum “especially enjoyed having a chat” during visits, which “definitely kept her going” both when caring for her husband and later when living alone. C M valued how carers “took the time to get to know her” and created “opportunities for social interaction,” with the team providing “a great support when she started to deteriorate.” That attentive, responsive approach helps families feel confident their loved one is thriving, not just being monitored.

Jade Ebden, our Operations Manager with over 20 years of care experience, and Nina Hanson, our Client Experience and Quality Lead, ensure day care plans stay focused on what brings joy and purpose to each person’s day. Every Care Professional completes comprehensive training including our City & Guilds accredited dementia programme, so they understand how to engage clients meaningfully at every stage. We work closely with local physiotherapists, occupational therapists and GPs across Rossington, Sprotbrough and Conisbrough, incorporating any recommended exercises or health monitoring into daytime support.
Our Sporting Friendship Group meets every Tuesday at Knights Rugby Club in Armthorpe, and we host Friendship Lunches twice monthly at The Highwayman in Woodlands and Woodfield Farm in Balby – welcoming spaces where clients receiving day care can get out, socialise and enjoy good company. Our Care Professionals can provide support attending these events, or might take clients to other local spots they’ve always loved.
