Our director, Robbie Jones, is delighted to have been nominated and shortlisted as a finalist in Darlington Borough Council's annual "Stronger Communities Awards"

Contribution to the Community

Robbie is shortlisted for his work producing "Dementia’s Got Talent" which came to the Hippodrome stage in January 2025. He is shortlisted in the category “Contribution to the Community”. I very much see this as recognition for everyone involved in making this project become such an incredible success on behalf of Dementia Friendly Darlington Steering Group. This is fantastic news and helps us to continue raising awareness of dementia and all the support available across Darlington and continues the legacy of Dementia’s Got Talent.

It’s very exciting to be shortlisted and the winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony at The Dolphin Centre on the evening of Friday 7th November.
