Kate Smith is the Registered Manager at Home Instead Cleveland and joined the team very early in our journey in 2016. Starting as a Caregiver, she then moved into the office and has risen through the ranks to become 'The Boss!' Her dedication and expertise is unparalleled.

Gaynor is one of our excellent training professionals. She started with the Home Instead Cleveland family as a Care Professional in September 2022 quickly bonding and building great relationships with Clients. She now trains all our new recruits to a very high standard.

Home Instead looked after mum for 15 months and in that period of time they treated her with affection and remained highly professional. The carers got to know her quickly and made sure every aspect of her care was dealt with even allowing her to be independent when she requested. Nothing was too difficult for them and they regularly went above and beyond. Mum really looked forward to the carers going and they had such a laugh. Living so far away from mum I had total peace of mind. The whole team are first class and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing care.

An outstanding service. My Dad was trying a care home, after a few months, he decided he was not ready to stay but needed care, which he had previously refused. At my request, the manager from Home Instead visited him before he returned home. After talking with Dad she arranged three male carers to alternately visit him for two hours per day. She also educated me on some of the problems I was having and explained how she could help. She was the first person I had talked to that not only understood my problems but provided me with actual solutions. Initially, Dad thought he did not need carers but after a few weeks realised that the help and company was not only important but looked forward to the visits as the carers became his good friends. I found the carers exceptionally professional, patient and caring and they helped enormously by assisting Dad with tasks that he refused to do for me. I wish we had discovered Home Instead years ago. All staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
