CAREGiver Cath Pealing collects the very first SuperHero Award at our quarterly staff meeting in December 2015, as voted for by her colleague’s.
Having announced the qualification criteria and launched our CAREGiver SuperHero Award at our quarterly staff meeting back in September 2015, we were delighted to subsequently receive so many high quality CAREGiver nominations.
Gail Godson Director said’ our most recent independent client and staff surveys demonstrate the high quality care services that are delivered by our team in the community, we are delighted that 100 % of our clients rate our service as ‘good or excellent’ and 100% of our staff are proud to work at Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley. We are aware that our wonderful CAREGivers are regularly going the ‘extra mile’ and thought it appropriate to recognise that fact, via colleague and peer recognition, our SuperHero Award’.
Having an ‘open door’ approach for our staff allows them the opportunity to discuss day to day matters when they arise, we thought it appropriate to also recognise all the outstanding work consistently delivered by offering our staff an additional opportunity to sit and discuss where our CAREGivers feel they have gone the ‘extra mile’, share best practice and then recognise the achievement in addition to our usual ‘thank you’ or ‘well done’.
Gail goes on to say, ‘I was delighted to present our lovely CAREGiver Cath Pealing with the first SuperHero certificate, bouquet of flowers and M&S vouchers to the value of £250.00, Cath truly is an inspirational member of the team and her professionalism and dedication is an example to us all , I look forward to our next quarterly staff meeting in early 2016 where I am sure we will be celebrating further CAREGiver achievement’s.
