Tottenham Community Cafe

“A new community initiative is bringing warmth, connection, and companionship to local residents in Tottenham. A Cup Full of Memories, hosted by Home Instead in partnership with Tottenham Community Sports Centre, is a welcoming community café created especially for older adults, including those living with dementia.

Launching on Friday 10 April 2026, the café will run on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Tottenham Community Sports Centre.

The café offers a relaxed and friendly environment where attendees can enjoy tea, coffee, and light refreshments while spending time with others in the community. Whether it’s sharing stories, meeting new people, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of tea, the space is designed to feel inclusive, supportive, and uplifting.

As part of the experience, there will also be a short mat bowls activity available for everyone to take part in. This gentle, fun activity provides a great opportunity to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy a bit of friendly interaction.

Guests are encouraged to simply drop in. Attendance is free of charge, with optional donations welcomed.

This initiative aims to create meaningful social opportunities, helping to reduce loneliness and provide a safe, comfortable setting for people to connect and build friendships.
