Over £5000 raised for children’s charity through spreading Christmas cheer!

Home Instead Chingford were proud to sponsor an incredible event for The Dream Factory. In a heartwarming display from the community of Chingford, led by the Love Chingford group, the power of festive generosity was proven true by everyone raising over £5000 for the children’s charity.
The children’s charity aims to brighten the lives of children and young adults between 3 & 25 who have life-limiting, life-threatening conditions, or severe disabilities by granting dreams. So far, they have been able to support over 600 wishes.
The week long event started with a joyful Santa tour of the local area spreading across 20 miles split across the evenings. Loaded with an abundance of smiles, buckets, and jingling bells the group displayed exactly what Christmas magic is.
Residents of all ages were able to enjoy while providing an outpouring of support. Thursday brought the Christmas Light Trail just outside of the assembly hall. Gathering everyone to enjoy an enchanting evening of carols, mince pies, mulled wine and most importantly Santa’s grotto!
