With the school holidays just around the corner, many families are starting to think about the extra costs that come with six weeks off school. From days out and family activities to ice creams, new clothes and keeping the children entertained, the expenses can soon add up.

If you’re looking for a flexible way to earn some extra money while making a genuine difference in your local community, a role in care could be exactly what you’re looking for.

At Home Instead Charnwood, we’re currently looking for caring and reliable people to join our team supporting older adults to remain independent in their own homes. Whether you’re returning to work, looking for additional hours, or simply wanting a rewarding role that fits around family life, we’d love to hear from you.

One of the things our Care Professionals tell us they enjoy most is the variety of the role. No two days are the same. You could be helping someone start their day with breakfast, accompanying them to an appointment, providing companionship, or supporting them with everyday tasks that allow them to continue living independently.

We understand that flexibility is important, especially during the summer months. That’s why we offer a range of working patterns, including morning shifts and weekend work, allowing many of our team members to fit work around their existing commitments.

What We Offer

  • Paid training and ongoing development
  • Flexible working hours
  • Competitive rates of pay
  • Ongoing support from a friendly local office team
  • A rewarding role where you can make a real difference to someone’s life every day

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who are kind, dependable and passionate about helping others. Experience isn’t always necessary, as full training is provided, but there are a few essential requirements:

  • A driver with access to a vehicle
  • Ability to obtain business motor insurance
  • Ability to obtain a clear DBS check
  • Availability to work morning shifts and some weekends
  • A caring and compassionate nature

Working in care isn’t just a job. It’s an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, support vulnerable people in your community, and leave work knowing you’ve genuinely improved someone’s day.

If you’re interested in finding out more about joining our team, we’d love to hear from you.

Call us on 0116 216 5306 or send us a message today to discuss the opportunities available.
