What Does a Care Professional Quality & Compliance Lead Do?
The successful candidate will support multiple areas of quality assurance, training, and team development. This varied role provides an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to progress within domiciliary care, home care quality assurance, or care management. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the recruitment onboarding process for new Care Professionals
- Delivering inductions and competency assessments
- Completing spot checks and observations within the community
- Monitoring training completion and e-learning compliance
- Providing coaching and guidance to Care Professionals
- Conducting audits and quality assurance checks
- Supporting incident investigations and follow-up actions
- Promoting safe working practices and CQC compliance
- Working closely with scheduling and office teams
- Identifying additional training and development needs
- Supporting a positive and supportive care culture
- Participating in the on-call rota and assisting with care calls where required
Skills and Experience Required
We are looking for somebody who genuinely cares about delivering excellent standards of care and supporting others to succeed. Experience previously supporting, mentoring, or supervising staff is desirable, although ongoing support and development will be provided.
