Take public transport along with your carer to Abbey Park in Leicester for a day out to remember. The River Soar divides this beautiful park into two areas, on the western side of the river you’ll find the remains of the twelfth century Leicester Abbey, and the ruins of Cavendish House, a seventeenth century mansion. To the east of the river is the Victorian-themed gardens with shrubberies, trees, a boating lake, miniature railway, and wonderful flower displays to admire as you stroll along with your carer.
