How we do it

Chronic loneliness affects 1.4 million ageing adults in the UK. Here is how we are fighting to end this.

What we do

We fundraise to end loneliness and isolation in ageing adults. As well as impacting on mental health, loneliness can increase the risk of dementia, cardiovascular disease, and other age-related illnesses. Home Instead Charities are proud to fund activities such as music therapy, art therapy and peer support groups to ensure ageing adults are happy and healthy.

We partner with local community groups and charities

We partner with small groups who may not be able to afford their own marketing or fundraising teams. We fund projects to help keep ageing adults connected to their communities.
