Local home care company celebrates at the East Midlands Great British Care Awards
The team at Home Instead Central Nottingham and West Bridgford are celebrating achieving an accolade at the East Midlands Great British Care Awards which were held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on Friday 24th November.
The Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector.
The team at Home Instead Central Nottingham and West Bridgford were nominated for ‘The Care Team Award’, an award presented to those able to demonstrate strong leadership, a shared vision and agreed goals whilst upholding a commitment to dignity and privacy for clients and also respect for their fellow team members.
The event saw the team receive a ‘highly commended’ award, with judges impressed by the hard work of the team who all demonstrate a strong commitment to the outstanding level of care they provide to the community.
A spokesperson from the awards said: “Congratulations on your high commendation at the Great British Care Awards! You should be proud of your exceptional work in the care sector”.
Led by Charlotte Johnson, who is also owner of Home Instead Charnwood, Loughborough and Coalville and who were also up for the same award, Charlotte was thrilled to have both of her offices in line to achieve such an accolade, commenting: “To have not one, but both of the Home Instead offices I own nominated for The Care Team Award is a huge achievement, one that I’m extremely proud of.
Charlotte continued: “I’m so proud of the team at Home Instead Central Nottingham and West Bridgford. The team are at the heart of everything we do in order for us to be able to support more elderly people in our local community. They all work together and I’m really proud of them…well deserved”.
