Led by Sarah, an experienced instructor with over seven years of teaching, these chair-based yoga sessions are tailored to all ability levels. No pre-booking is required, and classes cost £10 each. The sessions promote calmness, mobility and a strong sense of community. Weekly classes take place at Twyford Social Club, Holy Trinity Methodist Church and St Lawrence Parish Room in Winchester.

Nurture You Yoga
Run by Dr Jocelyn Jones, this programme includes Chair-Based Gentle Years Yoga and Gentle Soul Yoga—both inclusive options designed to improve posture, muscle tone and joint comfort. These classes are ideal for beginners or those managing chronic health conditions. A free taster session is available, and classes are held at Martyr Worthy Village Hall.

Senior Swim Sessions
Winchester Sport & Leisure Park offers a 50-metre pool and designated senior swim times for adults aged 66 and over. These joint-friendly, low-impact sessions take place on:

Hobbs Rehabilitation: Movement and Mobility
Held on Mondays from 2 to 3 pm at Hobbs Rehabilitation in Winchester, this class blends cardiovascular exercise, strength training and balance work. Participants must be able to attend independently without the use of walking aids. The cost is £55 for six sessions.
