Boomtown Festival 2026

Matterley Estate, Ovington
12th – 16th August 2026

Set within the stunning Matterley Bowl near Winchester, Boomtown is one of the UK’s most unique and immersive festivals. Combining world-class music, theatrical performances, interactive storytelling and large-scale art installations, the festival transforms into a vibrant fictional city for four unforgettable days.

With 12 main stages, eight themed districts and thousands of performers, visitors can experience an extraordinary mix of underground, global and contemporary music alongside spectacular entertainment and creativity. Mucky Weekender Music Festival

10th – 12th September 2026

For those who enjoy a more intimate festival experience, Mucky Weekender offers the perfect end-of-summer celebration. Curated by Dub Pistols frontman Barry Ashworth, this boutique music festival combines live performances, comedy, family activities and a welcoming community atmosphere.

Known for its friendly crowd and eclectic line-up, Mucky Weekender delivers all the excitement of a major festival while maintaining a relaxed and inclusive feel.

 

Foodies Festival Winchester

17th – 19th July 2026

Food lovers won’t want to miss Foodies Festival, the UK’s largest touring food and music festival. Returning to Winchester this July, the event promises an exciting programme of celebrity chefs, live cooking demonstrations, artisan food producers and fantastic live music.

Often referred to as “Gastro-Glastonbury”, the festival features appearances from chefs and personalities from popular television programmes including MasterChef, The Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu.
