Sometimes people manage very well during the day, perhaps supported by our care professionals or sometimes family – but at night, it is difficult to maintain that 24-hour cover, so we offer overnight care. This can take two forms – for some, people and families just want the reassurance of someone being on hand in an emergency. For some people, because of their conditions, they are awake around the clock or have very interrupted sleep, so we can provide waking nights. With sleeping nights, the client just needs to provide a spare bedroom where the care professional can settle for the night and just be on hand – sleep monitors can support here. With waking nights, that provisions is not needed, because the care professional is on hand throughout the night to deal with either personal care or Healthcare at Home needs.

We have provided a matrix of different support with night care over the years for our clients. We have had clients who just need a sleeping night care professional to give some respite to the family or spouse while they take a holiday or go to a wedding weekend. We have delivered waking night care as part of a 24-hour care package, and we have also out in waking nights to relieve live-in carers who need to get some sleep overnight. We can tailor our care packages to meet whatever needs you might have.
What we do to care for your loved ones
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of a unique mix of services to meet your needs.
