Love To Move

Home Instead Senior Care Bromley, in partnership with the British Gymnastics Foundation has launched a chair-based gymnastics programme specially designed to get older people moving and functioning better.

Here is the science bit... Almost every part of this chair-based exercise programme works on bi-lateral asymmetric movement patterns. This benefits all older people including those with dementia and mild cognitive impairment, by enabling the left side and right side of the brain to process information independently, thus improving cognitive function, co-ordination and the ability to carry out activities of daily moving more independently ... so in essence, it’s great for all!

Our programme is at Coney Hall Assembly Halls, 18 Gates Green Road, Coney Hall, West Wickham, BR4 9JW. From 2pm - 3.30pm every Monday (Excluding Bank Holidays). We serve tea, coffee, cake and biscuits in a friendly and encouraging environment. We ask for contribution of £3 to attend.
