Throughout September, some of our amazing Care Professionals and office team have taken on the challenge of walking a mile a day in support of Parkinson's UK
Come rain or shine, our team has been out and about exploring the local area, often with their families alongside them, and even fitting in walks between client visits. We couldn’t be prouder of their efforts!
Throughout the month, we’ve loved seeing everyone share:
It’s been brilliant seeing how this challenge has brought everyone together and got us all exploring more of our lovely local area.
So far, we’ve raised £370 of our £500 goal – we’re so close! With your support, we’d love to reach that target. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference and we’d be so grateful for any help.
Walking every day has been great for our own wellbeing, but it’s also helping raise awareness and vital funds for people living with Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, and right now, there is no cure. The money we raise will help fund important research and provide essential support for those affected.
This cause is especially close to our hearts because we support clients who live with Parkinson’s, and we see first-hand the impact it can have on both them and their families. That’s why we’re proud to go beyond our daily care services and do our part to support Parkinson’s UK.
If you’d like to help us reach our fundraising target, please consider making a donation. Together, we can make a real difference!
