Home Instead Sponsorship

For the 3rd year, Home Instead Beverley & Hull are delighted to once again be sponsoring the Beverley Town Bowls Club https://www.beverleyrecreationclub.co.uk/bowls/ as they embark on a new outdoor season.  After a wet winter the club are looking forward to getting back outside and will be holding their open day on April 24^th.  New members are always welcome, whether you’ve bowled before or not and anyone interested is encouraged to pop along on the 24^th from 11am to 3pm at the Beverley Town Cricket and Recreation Club, Recreation Club Lane, Beverely, HU17 9HW.  All equipment will be provided so you just need to turn up and have fun.

Lawn Bowling  

Bowls is a great activity with a huge range of benefits for your physical and mental wellbeing.  The low-impact physical exercise can help to improve balance, coordination and flexibility while keeping you active.  The strategic nature of the game makes you think moves ahead, exercising the mind as much as the body.  However, perhaps the most striking benefit is companionship.  Bowls is a friendly, sociable sport that allows players from different generations and backgrounds to come together in a truly inclusive activity.  It is one of the few activities that allows seniors to play with and against younger players and joining a lawn bowling club can lead to many new friendships.
