Two Companionship Lunches to Choose From!

We're hosting two lunches across the area to help people get out socialising

This week we are launching a new companionship lunch at the Manor Farm pub in Willerby Road aimed at the over 60s.  The event will run from 12-2pm and will be a lovely opportunity to meet others and enjoy an excellent pub lunch.  Manor Farm offers a wide range of meal choices, so there will be something to fit every diet.  There will also be Bingo, Play Your Cards Right and a Raffle.  This event will take place monthly on the first Wednesday.  All are welcome to come along and enjoy the afternoon.

Beverley Community Lift will be operating a bus from Beverley to the event in Willerby starting in July.  If you would like to book a seat on the bus, you just need to register the first time as a Community Lift user, then you can book and use the service for this event as well and all the other fabulous activities and outings that BCL organise.

The lunch in Willerby is the second event of this type that we’ve organised.  Our first companionship lunch at The Highfield in Beverley has been running for over a year and takes place on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  Attendance has reached up to nearly 40 some months.  This makes for quite a large pot for the Bingo and Play Your Cards Right winners!  The Highfield event also includes an hour of live music usually playing many old favourites to sing along to.

We would love to see you either on your own or with a group of friends at these events.
