City & Guilds Dementia Training

Another 6 Home Instead care professionals recently completed their City & Guilds Dementia Training

Training Success

Congratulations to Liz, Nicky, Lynne, Chris, Rachelle and Caroline for completing all 6 modules of our City & Guilds Dementia training.  The course is part of Home Instead’s industry leading training and was developed with advice from The University of Bradford Centre for Applied Dementia Studies.  Dementia can affect each individual in unique ways and the course not only helps our Care Professionals to understand more about the condition it also gives them the opportunity to share best practices and learn from each other about how best to support their clients living with dementia.

The Dementia training is just part of the initial and ongoing training that our Care Professionals receive throughout their career with Home Instead.  We are the only care company to have been awarded two Princess Royal Training Awards and you can learn more about the training and support that we provide here.

Dementia Action Week will run from the 13th to the 19th of May this year and we’ll be doing what we can to raise awareness.  If you have questions or would like to find out more about Home Instead please use the link below.
