Our Tracey is Finalist for Great London Care Awards

Local caregiver Tracey Davies has been nominated for a regional award for her outstanding service in the care sector. Tracey works for the Barnet office of at-home care company, Home Instead Senior Care, and has been named as a finalist in the upcoming Great London Care Awards 2012.

Tracey has been nominated as a finalist in the Care Newcomer Award category and will learn if she is a winner at a glitzy award evening being held at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London on November 3rd, with the awards being presented by Vanessa Feltz.

Tracey was nominated by her boss, Dale Bevington, who has admired her hard work and dedication during the 5 months since joining the business. He is particularly proud of the way she shone during her induction training, and scoring 100% on a recent Alzheimer’s Training Programme.

Tracey has past experience of caring for her grandmother and currently looks after her elderly parents. She understands that assisting older people requires patience and sensitivity, something she has demonstrated extensively with her clients.

Dale added, “It is a real honour to make it to the finals of these prestigious awards which celebrate excellence in the care sector. Tracey is a great example of a newcomer to our industry and am sure she will continue to add sunlight to many of her clients’ lives. We all have our fingers crossed November 3rd.”
