Sale Moor Art Club

At Home Instead Altrincham, we’re always on the lookout for stimulating events for our senior community. Today, we’re thrilled to feature the Sale Moor Art Club. For those of us who love painting and art, this club offers an amazing opportunity to express our creativity, pick up new skills, and interact with other art enthusiasts.

This year (2023), the Sale Moor Art Club celebrated its 40th anniversary, which was a significant milestone. They commemorated the occasion with a spectacular exhibition and presentation evening that highlighted the artistic abilities of its members. The exhibition, held at the Sale Moor Community Centre on Norris Road, was a lively affair that captivated the hearts of both young and old visitors.

The Sale Moor Art Club is a valuable resource for our community because of its welcoming and inspiring environment, which makes it ideal for care professional and client activities for those receiving care in Sale and the surrounding areas. The club meets every Monday at the community centre, with two sessions available at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. These gatherings are more than just art classes; they are places of community, learning, and shared interest.

The Sale Moor Art Club is an excellent opportunity for our Home Instead seniors to participate in a rewarding hobby, meet like-minded people, and stay mentally and creatively active. The club is a welcoming environment for all skill levels, whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out.

So, why not pick up a brush and explore the world of art at Sale Moor Art Club? It’s a fantastic way to add colour and joy to your life while also becoming a part of a vibrant community that values and celebrates art in all of its forms.

Remember that there is no age limit for art, and it is never too late to begin a new artistic adventure. We hope that many of our Home Instead seniors will take advantage of the camaraderie and creativity that Sale Moor Art Club has to offer. Let’s make some artwork together!

Sale Moor Art club meets in the community centre every Monday for sessions at 10am and 1.30pm. The club welcomes new members. For further information contact Bob Cooke on 07766051282.
