Kicking off Dementia Awareness Together!

Supporting Dementia Awareness at Altrincham FC
We’re proud to be hosting an awareness stand at Altrincham F.C. a week today as they take on Truro City F.C..
📅 Saturday 7th March 2026
⏰ Kick off 3pm (doors open 1.30pm)
Members of our team will be there throughout the afternoon, including at half time, alongside Rebecca from Alzheimer’s Society, sharing helpful information and resources about living well with dementia at home.
For many families, dementia can feel overwhelming when it first enters their lives. That’s why starting the conversation early can make such a difference. Understanding the support available, asking questions, and speaking to people who truly understand the journey can help families feel more prepared, informed, and supported.
At our stand you’ll find:
🧠 Practical resources to support people living with dementia at home
📍 Our “What’s On Where” community guides, highlighting local activities and support across the community
📩 An invitation to our upcoming Dementia Open Day in Sale
(This open day will take place on Tuesday 31st March 2026 (10am–2pm) at the The Salvation Army in Sale and will bring together local organisations offering guidance, support, and lots of opportunities for connection).
We also know that sometimes a simple conversation can be the most valuable support of all. If you’re coming along to the match, please do stop by our stand to say hello, ask questions, and pick up one of our latest information cards.
We’d love to meet you.
