The Taylor’s Grand Day Out!

Wellbeing fundamental to positive home care support
Wellbeing fundamental to positive home care support

As part of UK Older People’s Day today, at Home Instead Altrincham we were delighted to be able to help two of our lovely clients put on their best bib and tucker and take them for a great day at Salvation Army in Sale.

Mr & Mrs Taylor (pictured) were escorted by one of their regular Home Instead CAREGiver to the Salvation Army in Sale and after a great coffee morning, entertainment and lunch club, were then collected by their CAREGiver as part of their arranged home help and care support package.  It was great to see them both out and about as a couple in the glorious sunshine, socializing with many other senior members of the community. At Home Instead we truly believe that our clients wellbeing has a huge impact on being able to “living well” into their senior years which is why we are always on hand to assist with the social element of life as much as the practical day to day home help and care support.

UK Older People’s Day is on 1st October every year to coincide with the UN International Day of Older Persons. The main aim for the day is to be a celebration of the achievements and contributions that older people make to our society and the economy. Older People’s Day supports the campaign to challenge negative attitudes and outdated stereotypes.

If you would like to find out more about the “creative” care and companionship services we offer, then please contact our friendly team on 0161 870116.
