Sporting Memories

Sporting Memories is the World's 1st Charity dedicated to Sports Reminiscence & Physical Activities. Helping tackle Dementia, Depression & Loneliness.

They put on a wonderful event at Timperley Sports Club on Sunday 22nd July, for the older generation to have a go at local sporting and health activities with the hope that people will get active and continue to attend these sessions.

Walking Football and Walking Rugby, Line Dancing and Archery were amongst the many activities enjoyed on the day.

All of these local activities are listed in our What’s on Where Guides, if you would like one of these guides please contact the office on 0161 8701136 and we will send one out to you.

It is very important to stay active and socialising, if you would like to go to any of these groups don’t forget our CareGivers can come to your home and take you there and you can enjoy the session together.
