There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people.

Lucy decided that here at Home Instead Senior Care Altrincham a coffee morning would be the perfect fund raising event, to help support the great work Macmillan provide to so many.

It’s not a nice fact but one in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. Macmillan’s goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone.

We provide home care to many Seniors who have survived cancer or are living with it on a daily basis. Our CAREGivers are able to support with emotional and practical help, and because cancer affects more than just those facing it, CAREGivers are there for friends and family too.

We had lots of fun guessing the weight of Lucy’s failed bake! Her second attempt went down much better with a cuppa! Thank you to all who popped in throughout the day and helped us to raise £44.
