Over the summer Lucy raised £353 at local fetes, coffee mornings and more than a dozen talks throughout South Trafford. Presenting to over 250 people at social groups, independent living facilities & church groups.
The talks raised awareness on what questions to ask when searching for support that enables people to continue to live independently at home & how Home Instead are dedicated to delivering person-centred care packages. Lucy also highlighted the great support given by the Trafford Carers Centre in helping family members care for their loved ones at home.

The Prize to win a Home Instead ‘Caregiver for the day’ was won by Dorothy Byrne from Timperley.

Dorothy has very generously donated back to Trafford Carers Centre for their Christmas Raffle (to be drawn at the Trafford Carers Christmas party mid Dec).
