Our 2nd CAREGivers team complete dementia training - well done!

We are very proud of our second group of CAREGIVERS who have successfully completed our City & Guilds Dementia accredited training course, which has been successfully run in-house by Michelle Cropper (Home Instead Senior Care Altrincham and Sale's Care Manager). Well done to Tina, Melissa, Maeve, Linda and Cathy.

Home Instead Senior Care also want to be the trusted source of care for our clients and their families. We are helping with Home Instead UK’s ambition to train over 2,500 people during National Dementia Awareness Week, by reaching out to families and the community at large to provide much needed support.

The Family Education Training Programme includes:

Class 1 – Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias

Class 2 – Capturing Life’s Journey

Class 3 – Techniques to Manage Behaviours

Class 4 – Encourage Engagement

Each session is expected to last one hour, we plan to deliver the classes in two groups of two.
