Ashton on Mersey Summer Market, time to chat, care, and support

Despite the typically miserable British weather at the Fete in Ashton on Mersey, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the local people who turned out to support everyone there, and the Home Instead team enjoyed talking to a variety of lovely and inspiring people.

We chatted to several interested in finding quality companionship and care for their loved ones, people keen to discover What’s on Where with our local guides, people in need of support and information about how to cope with those suffering from dementia.

We also loved talking to 90 year old Hilda, who lives locally and enjoys being out and about in all weathers in her local community! She was delightfully upbeat and it was a real pleasure meeting her.

We also had the pleasure (and honour) of chatting with the sprightly Jim, a 97 year old Dunkirk veteran who also lives locally.

Jim is a brilliant advocate of getting out and about, again in all weathers, to promote living well in older age.  You are amazing Jim!

Finally we also talked to several individuals about the possibility of becoming a CAREGiver with Home Instead, helping Seniors in your local communities and we do hope we get to talk to more of you in future, If you would like to talk to our team please contact us on 0161 8701136
