Care Assistant

flintshire Full-time 10.60 - 10.60 per hour Closing date: 07/06/2022

We are looking for Care Professionals In the Mold, Buckley, Hawarden and surrounding areas. 

Guaranteed minimum hour contracts are available.

The role will typically include some of the following;

  • Personal care, to include assisting clients with washing, bathing, showering. 
  • Providing meals such as preparing breakfast, lunch, tea and supper where necessary. If you can cook then great as we would rather you made something fresh and tasty. 
  • Where necessary assisting to take medication once trained to do so. 
  • Companionship- to be company and spend time with someone getting to know them and taking an interest in their hobbies, likes and dislikes. 
  • Housekeeping- to provide light housekeeping such as hoovering, dusting, ironing etc. We believe that the home should be a clean and pleasant environment to work in to ensure that our clients can stay at home and be independent  for as long as possible. 
  • Taking our clients to appointments and outings such as doctors appointments and going out for a bite to eat or a coffee. 
  • Keeping records of your activities and reporting any findings to the supporting office team with the help our handy app.

Care Assistant Salaried

wrexham Full-time 21,515 - 21,515 per annum Closing date: 07/06/2022

Working with our clients in their own home to provide them with companionship and assist them to live their daily lives with as much independence as possible. 

  • 35 hours per week on a set pattern - 3 days per week 2 week set pattern includes 1 weekend every 2 weeks
  • Overtime available

A typical day could include: 

  • Making Meals and drinks for or with a client. 
  • Assisting someone to wash, shower, brush their hair and get dressed. Helping them to feel and look their best.
  • Assisting a client with their medication ( once fully trained to do so) 
  • Assisting with toileting needs where necessary
  • Light housekeeping to keep their home safe and a nice environment to live in. 
  • Participating and encouraging clients to continue with their hobbies and enjoy their life to the full.

Care Coordinator

wrexham Full-time 22,500 - 22,500 per annum Closing date: 15/06/2022

Field Care Supervisor and is primary based working out in the field supporting our Care professionals and clients but also has office aspects to the role.

37.5 hours per week. £22,500 per Annum 

To include 1 weekend day on alternate weekends

To ensure that our clients receive the appropriate support and a high-quality service.

  • Support care consultations, service reviews and completing client support plans.
  • Conduct CAREGiver support visits and client QA’s.
  • Update and audit client Personal plans and assist with digital care planning.
  • Maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records.
  • Conduct client and CAREGiver introductions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Carry out client reviews and action these accordingly.
  • Support and mentor CAREGivers.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and CAREGivers.
  • Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required. compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy.
  • Ensure in respect of employment and service delivery.
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.?
  • Deliver care to our clients where required.
  • This role requires travelling in and around the Wrexham and Flintshire areas.
  • Flexibility to support CAREGivers and provide care early mornings, late evenings and weekends where necessary.
