Our Team takes part in the London Memory Walk.

At Home Instead Westminster, we support many clients and their family on their dementia journey. So the team in the office and CAREGivers with their families took part in the London Memory Walk to raise much needed funds for The Alzheimer's Society. We braved the rain and had a wonderful day walking through the London Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Councillors Christabel Flight and Jacqui Wilkinson joined Terezie Wickenden, Westminster Dementia Advisor and Fred Mairet, from Home Instead Senior Care for a ‘High Street Blitz’ that took place on busy Warwick way in Pimlico, where 90 percent of businesses have signed up in support of the campaign.

Last week, we welcomed the Minister of State for Care, Caroline Dinenage, to our Outstanding Westminster office. The Minister spent some time finding out about the Home Instead Senior Care network and how we're doing care differently. It was fantastic that she also spent some time chatting to the team and to CAREGivers, finding out what Outstanding care looks like, as well as how we can work together to help our ageing population live well at home for longer. All in all, a great visit!
