One year anniversary of the Home Instead Wellness café in Westminster As well as tea and cakes, the cafe provides a space where visitors can socialise, stay active and hear guest speakers in friendly surroundings.
Dementia Action Week took place on 21-27 May. The campaign asks everyone to take actions big and small to improve the lives of people affected by dementia. Home Instead Westminster has had a very busy week raising awareness and helping Westminster becoming more Dementia Friendly
Councillors Christabel Flight and Jacqui Wilkinson joined Terezie Wickenden, Westminster Dementia Advisor and Fred Mairet, from Home Instead Senior Care for a ‘High Street Blitz’ that took place on busy Warwick way in Pimlico, where 90 percent of businesses have signed up in support of the campaign.
Last week, we welcomed the Minister of State for Care, Caroline Dinenage, to our Outstanding Westminster office. The Minister spent some time finding out about the Home Instead Senior Care network and how we're doing care differently.
