Care Manager raises a staggering £800 for local Hospice

Pat, the Care Manager for Home Instead in Warrington sadly lost her younger brother Paul to cancer earlier this year. As an act of remembrance and to support the marvellous work done by the local hospice, she and her two daughters Jenny and Nicci did the six mile Starlight walk to raise much needed funds for the hospice.

As well as Pat’s personal experience of caring for a loved one with cancer, her work at Home Instead highlights the importance for people who are seriously ill and their families of having support and help at times of need.

Here at Home Instead we pride ourselves on being able to provide highly professional support that is tailored to an individuals needs and is delivered by a team of well trained, compassionate and caring individuals who enjoy the company of older people and take great pride in helping them to maintain their independence with dignity and respect.

So it can be from as little as being taken shopping or out to a garden centre for an hour a week, through to a number of visits each day as in the case of those who are seriously ill and need almost constant care throughout the day.

The key to all that we do is in having that personal touch, staff are very carefully vetted, highly trained and each CARE Giver is carefully matched to a client to help make their time together enjoyable, positive and life enhancing. So much like the hospice, we truly care about our clients and their families. If you would be interested in knowing more please contact us.
