You could provide the much needed company that our clients so desperately need, as everything we do is companionship led. We don’t believe in just dashing in and out.

Our services are non-medical and can include companionship, home help, personal care, meal preparation, post-hospital care, memory care and much more. We are preferably looking for staff who have experience administering medication and PPE & Infection Control training, but this is not essential as we provide full training.

This is not a short term offer, this is full employment with the opportunity to progress throughout your career with us.

This is what one of our newer CAREGivers had to say on beginning work with Home Instead Swansea:

What attracted you to join us?

“I’ve always worked in care, it’s in the family, I worked in a care home that specialised in nursing and dementia care, your job application on indeed made me look you up, I checked you on Facebook and the care inspectorate website because I was a bit dubious about home care, but it was all good stuff so I thought I'd give it a shot. The staff in the office is what made me think that you’re no ordinary home care service I liked it, everyone was fun and easy going and happy to be there, always a good sign! I like care because it’s visiting friends. They are only strangers when you first meet someone and then it’s easy, their friends till' the end and every day is different!”

How have you found providing care at home during covid-19?

“Working during the pandemic, I can't say has been any different than when I first started, and that’s a good thing, the support I have had from day one is there, despite working separately there is no lapse in communication, instructions are clear, and the help is there, equipment supply and guidance on usage is there and clear. The company is as much a team now as it was in February.”progress and develop through your career with us.
