Tea, the best drink of the day!

Mug, chocolates, pens and brochures - the perfect gift?
Mug, chocolates, pens and brochures - the perfect gift?

At home care company, Home Instead Senior Care decided to promote a healthy Christmas and New Year with their gifts for the people they work with in the community of Stockport. They gave people a branded ‘mug’ with telephone number splashed across it to encourage people to drink tea instead of alcohol. The mugs contained pens, brochures and a few chocolates, and were beautifully wrapped by Rachel, who is Business Development Officer.

Rachel commented: “The gifts were really well received and everyone loved the idea. I have had loads of feedback from people who have got it pride of place on their desks. A mug is always useful, but the pens are essential as you can never find one when you need one!”

David Moore, managing director said, “It is nice to receive a gift at Christmas as recognition of the work you have done with an organisation, and we are very appreciative of the support we receive from the Health and Social Care community to signpost people to our support. Knowing that good quality care is available is essential to people who are vulnerable and not sure where to look for support. Rachel and I came up with the idea of the gift when we were sat drinking a cup of tea one day. It took off from there!”
