It is vital that our CAREGivers understand the importance of their role; just one hour with the same client can really make a difference to their life, helping them to maintain their daily routine in the comfort of their own home.   This is home care at its best!

CAREGiver Role

  • Caring for people in your local community
  • Part time hours with a choice of allotted timings and alternate weekends 
  • You will be building relationships with clients that you will see regularly for a minimum of a one-hour visit
  • Full training and support to help you build a career and make a difference
  • This is more than a job, making every hour with our clients count
  • Great hourly rate, pension, plus holiday pay and mileage

Mornings, Evenings or Weekend CAREGivers Required

Due to a growing demand from Clients we are searching for CAREGivers who are wanting to work either mornings, evenings or weekends - or a combination.  

It is vital that our CAREGivers understand the importance of their role; just one hour with the same client can really make a difference to their life, helping them to maintain their daily routine in the comfort of their own home. This is home care at its best!

CAREGiver Role

  • Caring for people in your local community
  • Part time hours focusing on Mornings, Evenings or Weekends

Paid Volunteers Needed - Companionship, Home help and more

Have you ever helped at your local church or community centre? How about helping someone with shopping or simply being a friendly face to talk to? Or have you cared for your mum or dad or grandparents? These are some of the activities some of our CAREGivers do on a day to day basis. 

We are seeking kind, compassionate and dedicated people to join our wonderful team. Becoming a Paid Volunteer & Companion is the perfect job for those who want some flexibility in their day to day work as well as having a great sense of purpose and achievement.

Due to the increase in demand from new and existing Clients we are looking for paid volunteers to help with companionship, home help and more. Even if it is only 10 hours a week, it all helps. 

We have part-time jobs available throughout Southampton and surrounding areas such as Locks Heath and Warsash. It is essential that you have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle as some of our clients like us to take them out shopping and to appointments.

Home Instead is an award-winning national brand and we focus on building relationships, always the best way. As a companion you will see the same clients every week so companionship is at the heart of what we do, whatever the task involved. This is why we only do a minimum of one hour calls, it enables you to spend quality time with your Client.

Live In Care CAREGiver

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Southampton as a Live In Care CAREGiver.

As a Live In Care CAREGiver, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

We match our Live In Care CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. 

CAREGiver Role

  • Caring for people in the Southampton community
  • You will be building relationships with the Client you provide care for
  • Full training and support to help you build a career and make a difference

  • Great rate plus holiday pay and mileage


It would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
