Our Community Development Officer Kathy at the Market

Glorious weather on Sunday saw many people attend the Nether Edge Farmers market, where Home Instead Senior Care Sheffield was present to promote their part-time care jobs. The market is held every quarter, and provides an opportunity for people within the local community to purchase from local traders, services and crafts people.

Kathy, Tina and Debbie were all in attendance to help raise awareness of the part-time care jobs currently available at Home Instead Senior Care Sheffield, “We had a really good day; a lot of people were present at the market and it was a great opportunity to get out there and promote the care jobs we have available. We managed to book in 5 interviews and handed out a lot of cards and brochures for people to spread the word”.

Throughout May and June, Home Instead has hosted a string of successful recruitment open days. Bryn Evans franchise owner of Home Instead Sheffield commented “the demand for our home care services in Sheffield has been increasing year after year, however we do not want to be under resourced and must therefore continue our efforts to bring more people into our team”.

Home Instead are still looking for more individuals to provide quality care to their lovely clients. Our next recruitment open day will be hosted on Tuesday 1st July from 10.00 to 14:30 at Insanity Coffee Lounge and Bistro 311-313 Middlewood Road.
