Care Assistant

Pickering, UK Part-time 11.00 - 22.00 per hour Closing date: 01/04/2023

At Home Instead we call our care assistants "CAREGivers" to acknowledge the commitment they make in the care they provide.

What we can offer you in addition to your salary:

Job Description

We have opportunities to work flexible shift patterns that. We are looking for people able to work mornings or evenings (or both if you are looking for something closer to full time hours).

You will be assigned a set rota (based on your availability) and work an average of 3 or 4 week days and alternate weekends. You’ll receive regular clients and minimum of one-hour visits. Our aim is to provide care to our clients that we would want for our own families and become the employer of choice within the care sector.

As a CAREGiver you will be responsible for supporting clients to undertake tasks in their daily routine such as: washing, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and medication administration. You will be supporting clients who have a variety of health conditions such as frailty and dementia. You will be helping to prevent loneliness, identify changes in health conditions, lift people’s mood and enhance the overall wellbeing of our clients.

You need to be honest, reliable and passionate about caring for clients within your community. You also need your own transport.
