Live In Care - CAREGiver

Manchester Part-time £80 - £150 Daily Closing date: 08/11/2020

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Salford & Worsley as a Live In Care CAREGiver. As a Live In Care CAREGiver, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.

You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

We are looking for caring and compassionate people who want to make a difference to our clients lives and in return be part of our Salford team in a rewarding role.  We are not looking for experience as you will receive excellent support and training but being kind, caring and compassionate is essential.  

You will have your own clients who you will see regularly along with the guarantee to our clients that they will only see the people that they know and trust, you get to see on a daily basis the positive impact you are having on their lives.  All of our calls are a minimum of one hour allowing you to provide the best care you can with the dignity and support that all our clients deserve.

If you have some availability either every or every other weekend we want to hear from you.

Team Leader Needed!

Team Leader

Swinton Part-time from £9.80 per hour Closing date: 08/10/2020

This role largely focuses on the day-to-day supervision of our CAREGiver's to ensure that they are competent and supported to fulfil their role as a CAREGiver to the best of their abilities, and meet their Client’s needs. You will be looking out for any areas where more training or support is required, and then will be responsible for making sure this is carried out. You will be implementing this supervision through a mixture of both support visits, whilst CAREGiver’s are at Clients houses, and also through auditing CAREGiver’s activity logs.

In addition to this you will be having weekly phone contact with all new CAREGiver’s for the first 12 weeks of their employment, this is what is known as our ‘buddy’ system, and the purpose is to ensure CAREGiver’s are happy and supported, and to highlight any issues or concerns they may have.

The other part of your role will be to have regular contact with Clients, ensuring they are happy with the service we are providing, and again making sure any issues are correctly raised through the office team.

This role would suit an individual who is naturally caring, passionate about great care and conscientious. Full training will be provided.

Young adult with Cerebral Palsy requires a CAREGiver

CAREGiver Needed for a Young Adult

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a loving and dedicated team to support our young Client who is living with complex physical and mental disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy.

Our Client lives with his parents and requires support in all aspects of daily living, promoting choice and independence.  Support will include personal care, moving and handling together with many playful activities including:  baking delicious cakes, being an active member of a virtual choir and taking part in any painting activities especially when glitter is involved!

Our Client enjoys inclusion in the local community, college (when open) and being outdoors weather permitting.  We are looking for a dedicated individual who is flexible, who believes in personal centred care and who has an outgoing personality coupled with a great sense of humour.

The successful candidate will work closely with parents, brother and existing CAREGiver. Occasional night visits will be required.  Extensive training and shadowing will be given.
