Vikki skydives her way to raising money for Age UK Norwich

Recently, Vikki Beckwith from the Golden Triangle area of Norwich, skydived her way to raising £375 for Age UK Norwich, a charity close to her heart.

Vikki, 31, is an Operations Manager for Home Instead, a company specialising in caring for older people in their own homes. Age UK Norwich is a charity the care company works closely with, and Vikki wanted to help support the excellent work they do to help older people in the local community.

Chris Carter, owner of Home Instead commented on Vikki’s bravery in completing the tandem skydive. He said, “The whole Home Instead Norwich team are proud and inspired by Vikki’s courage and support for older people. £375 is a significant amount of money and we know it is going to a good cause.

“Our mission at Home Instead is to change the face of aging, and we know that Age UK work very hard to support older people in Norwich and have been doing so for more than 70 years.”

Vikki also commented on her daredevil adventure. She said, “I had a sleepless night prior to the event and was feeling really nervous in the days leading up to the dive. Once I had jumped, I found it really exhilarating. It is the best thing I’ve ever done and I am already making plans for my next dive!

“I would also like to thank everyone who has kindly donated towards my fundraising efforts for Age UK Norwich.”
