A few of the office staff and CAREGivers plus a canine friend of the Norwich office of at-home care company, Home Instead Senior Care, walked the walk recently when they took part in this year's Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk, which was help at the Norfolk Showground on 30th September.
The Home Instead team were able to raise £200 which will go towards the vital work done by the Alzheimer's Society to support older people, their carers and families. As well as funding local services in Norwich, such as dementia cafes.
Chris Carter, owner of Home Instead added, "The walk was good fun and it was the perfect opportunity for people from across Norwich and Norfolk to get together and make a difference to the lives of older people in our community.
We were delighted to be joined by a few of our CAREGivers, their children and friends for what was a truly memorable day. Even the sun shined on us after a dull start to the day.
"Many of our elderly clients are living with dementia and to do something to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause is really rewarding."
