Care Assistant responsibilities:

Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same, but every day is important! 

Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

We match our Care Professionals to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust which enables us to provide personalised support.

£110 per day - £770 per week + £5 a day food expenses

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Milton Keynes as a Live In Carer. As a Live In Carer, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

The role of a Live In Carer is a whole team effort, someone who is dedicated to their role, is willing to learn and contribute to the team, has the ability to work under pressure. The role is rewarding and challenging, however you will receive great support from both family and the Home Instead Team!

As a Live In Carer, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.

You will be responsible for delivering your client's personalised care plan and health goals, enabling clients to live life to the fullest in their own home, and you will maintain a positive relationship with your client, their family, friends and those supporting their health and wellbeing as well as being trustworthy and compassionate support to remain active with social activities. 

The majority of our clients need to attend appointments and outings, so we do prefer applicants to be drivers!

MUST have Driving Licence and Own Transport.

Starting salary at £700 Per Month with opportunity with career and pay progression.

  • 3 x 5 hour shifts with working Every Other Weekend
  • Pay ranging from £11 to £11.25 per hour
  • You will be FULLY trained by our Trainers within our Milton Keynes Office.
  • 24/7 support from our office and out of hours On Call phone.
  • 28p per mile – after the first 5 miles driven. 45p per mile for Companionship

This is an ideal role for someone who is seeking full time hours & stability . Joining our dynamic and supportive team of Care Professionals, you will be providing a variety of non-medical care services to help our clients stay independent in their own home.. Our clients are looking for the very best in care therefore we are searching for the highest quality of candidates. Being a care professional can include help and support with meal preparation, light domestic duties, administering or prompting medication, taking them shopping or to appointments and support with personal care.

We also have a fantastic career path programme for you to follow which would lead to you being a Specialist Care Professional. In house training such as Dementia care, End of Life and Nutrition means you can make this role a brand new career change.

What we offer you

We are now able to offer Care Professional salaried positions as below:

35 hours per week salary is £20,000-£20500

20 hours or 25 hours per week positions also available on a pro-rata salary

Overtime is paid at a rate of £11-£11.25 per hour

Care Quality Field Support

Milton Keynes Full-time 21750 - 21750 per annum Closing date: 01/07/2022

This is a crucial role in the support of our Care Management Team.   The Care Quality Field Support is expected to perform a variety of duties in the completion of services for clients and care professionals

·         Audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning.

·         Maintain accurate client and care professional records on Home Instead software and People Planner.

·         Support with client and care professional introductions.

·         Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.

·         Support and mentor care professionals through observations and support visits

·         Provide support to the Client Experience team.

·         Maintain regular contact with clients and care professionals.

·         Participate in on-call duties as required.
