It’s official, Home Instead Maidstone “Outstanding” at Caring!

Home Instead Senior Care Maidstone are delighted to announce that in a recent CQC inspection, made just before Christmas, we have been rated as “Outstanding” at caring and “Good” at running a safe, effective, responsive and well led service!

The inspection by the Governments official CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspectorate was very thorough, the Inspector spent a whole day at our East Peckham offices, checking our paperwork, training and auditing processes and interviewing staff from all areas of our operations including a very lively meeting with some of our amazing CAREGivers!

As well as this the Inspector also spoke to some of our clients, or their loved ones, and also other professionals that we work with in the Maidstone area to get a full and detailed picture of the standard of our service, we are delighted to say the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Some examples of the Inspectors many positive comments:

People were provided with a creative and person centred service which was caring and consistent. People described the service they received in exceptional terms and staff displayed dedication and commitment to their work.”

“The management team provided leadership that gained the respect of care workers and motivated them as a team.”

“Each one of the office management team spoke of occasions when they and care workers had gone significantly above and beyond the agreed plan of care and support for people who used the service.”

Maidstone office owner Mark Craig said “This is a great result for us and most importantly a real pat on the back for the team here for all of the hard work, commitment and passion they have put into providing the best possible care to our clients, I am really proud of them all. I must also thank the clients, client family members and professional colleagues that gave up their time to speak to the Inspector and give their honest feedback. However this excellent report doesn’t mean that we can be complacent, we must constantly strive to be creative, adaptive, build on our strengths and work on our weaknesses, the most vulnerable in our communities deserve the best care possible and at Home Instead it is our absolute passion to deliver”
