The team at Home Instead in Harrogate, Ripon & Thirsk have just celebrated their third successful year in business. Home Instead, who provide a wide range of care services for older people in their own homes, are looking to recruit 45 more caregivers by the end of the year, in order to cope with demand for their services in the local area.

Home Instead aim to match the requirements of clients to the experiences, interests and personality of their caregiver and has a minimum visit of one hour. This person-centred approach makes a real difference to the quality of care that clients receive. Regular meetings and close contact with clients, their families and their caregivers enable them to provide personalised care that adapts to the changing needs of the client.

Home Instead Owner, Sheena Van Parys is delighted with the way the business has expanded, she explains, “It has been a very exciting three years for us, and thanks to my fantastic team and Home Instead’s innovative approach to delivering at-home care services; demand for our services continues to be very high.”

“In order to recognise all their hard work I was keen to host a celebration, where all members of the team could get together with their clients and enjoy some tasty treats, including a rather special 3rd birthday Home Instead cake.”

“After 3 years I feel we are now a well-established business in the Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk areas and I’m extremely proud of our reputation in the local community, which has allowed us to provide care to a growing number of clients. As a result we’re looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team who are interested in a rewarding and extremely flexible career. We offer full training so experience is not necessary but people may have had personal experience such as looking after a loved one.”
