At-home care company Home Instead is set to create 250 jobs across its North Yorkshire offices over the next few months.
The company which has offices in Harrogate, Ripon, Thirsk, Darlington, Wetherby, North Leeds and York specialise in caring for older people helping them to remain living independently in their own homes. Their growth is not only attributable to the ageing population but, with social care very much in the spotlight in recent months, people are getting a better understanding of the care options that are available to them.
Recent census reports have also indicated an almost 20 per cent increase in the 65 and over population of North Yorkshire in the past ten years a trend which is set to continue.
Sheena Van Parys, owner of Home Instead in Harrogate commented, “It is our stated aim to change the way care is delivered to the elderly in the UK and, in doing so, change the face of ageing. It is the unique and high-quality, personal service which we offer that has allowed us to grow so quickly and create these jobs across the area. The rate at which our business is growing bears testament to the quality service our teams provide.
Sheena continued, “Our CAREGivers are very special people and greatly appreciated for the fantastic work they do. They come from varying backgrounds which is great for matching and relationship building with our clients but the attributes they all have in common are compassion, professionalism and a real desire to make a difference to the lives of others through care that is not rushed or time constrained. We provide all the necessary training in-house, so whether you are 19 or 99, if you are a caring person who would like to find out more about working for Home Instead, then please get in touch with your local Home Instead office.”
