Companion CAREGiver - Farnborough

Farnborough Part-time 9.50 - 13 per hour Closing date: 30/04/2021

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Farnborough, Fleet and Farnham as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

Duties include companionship, home-help (light domestic tasks), shopping, accompanying on short trips where possible, meal preparation, personal care (supporting with washing and dressing, for example) and support with medication if required. 

In addition to ongoing full training we will provide you with full PPE, provide weekly COVID testing kits and facilitate vaccinations where required, all to ensure that you always feel safe in your role.

We offer:

  • Flexible hours
  • The most competitive pay in our area (£11 day time, £12 weekend and £13 weekend) 
  • We pay mileage at 45p per mile and travel time in between clients where relevant
  • You will be employed and entitled to Sick Pay (where eligible) and Holiday Pay
  • Comprehensive training (a combination of online and COVID-19 secure face-to-face training). All training during your employment is paid
  • A CAREGiver experience Team to support you in the field anytime of the day, any day of the week

Home Care Companion CAREGiver - Farnborough

As a CAREGiver, you will be part of a team carefully matched to their client’s needs, providing a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

Duties include companionship, home-help (light domestic tasks), shopping, accompanying on short trips where possible, meal preparation, personal care (supporting with washing and dressing, for example) and support with medication if required.

What We offer:

  • Flexible hours
  • The most competitive hourly pay in our area (£11 day time, from £12 weekend)
  • Paid mileage at 45p per mile including travel time in between client visits
  • You will be employed and entitled to Sick Pay and Holiday Pay
  • Comprehensive paid training (a combination of online and COVID-19 secure face-to-face training).
  • A dedicated CAREGiver experience Team to support you in the field anytime of the day, any day of the week
  • COVID-19: All of our CAREGivers are offered free weekly covid testing, full PPE, and opportunity to vaccinate. We cover the full lost income if our CAREGivers have to self-isolate
  • Experienced CAREGivers (+3 years of experience in CAREGiving) will receive a bonus of £200 upon completion of their probation.

You must have the right to work in the UK

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people.

The Role

You will bring your experience in delivering care and managing care to consult prospective clients about their care needs, and work with the rest of the team to put in place the right level of care for the client. You will be the single point of contact for new clients and their families from the point of making an enquiry all the way until he client settles in to their new care and support package. 

  • Carry out telephone and face to face care consultations with clients to establish the care needs
  • Write detailed and person-entered care plans to assist CAREGivers in delivering the best care possible to their clients 
  • Work with the scheduling team to match the right CAREGivers to the clients based on needs and personalities 
  • Introduce CAREGivers to new clients and their families 
  • Meet the regularly requirements and Home Instead standards related to new client set up
  • Maintain contact with the clients and their families throughout the care settling in period 
  • Cover care calls from time to time if required as well as carry out on-call duties 

Salary

The starting salary for this role will be £23,000 per annum. You will be eligible for the company bonus scheme following successful completion of your probationary period.

Live-in CAREGiver

Are you an experienced Live-In carer seeking a new challenge or maybe a domiciliary/residential carer looking for career progression? Are you looking for a stable Live In carer role working for a family run, CQC 'Outstanding' rated home care provider?

The Role of a Live-in CAREGiver:
Home Instead Farnborough are recruiting for Live-In CAREGivers to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for supporting clients in their own home, living there 24 hours a day for agreed number of weeks, allowing them to remain as independent as possible. You will be providing companionship, assisting with medication, personal care duties such as bathing & dressing, helping with domestic tasks such as cleaning, preparing meals and updating client care plans to ensure the highest quality of care.

What We offer:

  • Earn up to £700 per week and £35 meal allowance, paid weekly
  • £200 welcome bonus for experienced Live-In Carers (+3 years of experience in CAREGiving) paid upon completion of probation period
  • Regular schedule (usually 2 or 3 weeks on and one week off) 
  • Contribution to travel costs to/ from work
  • TV and WiFi facilities provided
  • You will be employed and entitled to Sick Pay (subject to criteria) and Holiday Pay

  • 24/7 Field support from our local CAREGiver Experience Team
