Join the winning team, recruiting now in Perton

Home Instead Telford, Newport and Bridgnorth are now expanding into the Perton area and are looking to  create an additional 50 jobs across the area and is holding a recruitment event on Wednesday October 22nd, 10am to 1pm, at Perton Civic Centre.

Recruitment manager Tracey McPhillips, of Home Instead Senior Care Telford, Newport and Bridgnorth, said the role would particularly suit people who were seeking a rewarding part-time job that enabled them to work flexible hours and make a real difference to the lives of older people living in their community.

“We operate differently to many other home care companies. Our visits last a minimum of one hour to ensure enough time is given for proper care and we place emphasis on dignified and respectful domiciliary care that is tailored to the needs of each individual,” she said.

“We’re looking for individuals with natural empathy, who may already have provided care for a member of their own family, or people who may have taken early retirement and who wish to give something back to their community. They may be looking for a few hours work a week to share hobbies or interests, accompany someone to the shops or cinema, or they may be looking for more substantial work of over 30 hours a week.

“Recruits will be expected to work one-to-one with the same clients to ensure continuity of care and the building of meaningful and trusted relationships.

“All our CAREGivers receive comprehensive training, ongoing job support and competitive rates of pay.”

All CAREGivers are given opportunities to develop their skills and qualifications, including the option of working towards a QCF in health and social care, which replaces the old NVQ.

The recruitment event will take place in the bar area of the civic centre, in Church Road, Perton, near Wolverhampton.
