Jason Warren and Jenny Ballantine, owners of local care company, Home Instead Senior Care, were recently joined by local MP David Wright and Mayor of Telford, Councillor Kevin Guy who officially opened their new office on Court Street, Madeley
Also joining them in celebrating the success of their business were clients, CAREGivers, local organisations including the Alzheimer’s Society and local companies, who were welcomed with cake baked by CAREGiver, Ellen Jew’s, fair hands.
Home Instead Senior Care who provide care services to older people to help them to continue to live independently in their homes, across East Shropshire, has seen their business go from strength to strength. The company was originally set up in 2010 and has grown steadily each year and is now employing over 50 CAREGivers. They have seen a huge demand for their services due partly to the ageing of the local population but also as a result of older people opting where possible, to receive care that can help them to stay in their own homes.
Councillor Kevin Guy and MP David Wright were both delighted to attend the event and were full of praise for the type of work done by Home Instead for older people in the community. The company is now seen as one of the major employers in the local area.
Jenny said, “We were delighted so many people could come along to celebrate our success. Caring for elderly members of our community is hugely rewarding and we are proud to be providing care services as they should be, our visits are a minimum of an hour as we don’t believe that quality and companionship can be delivered in just 15 minutes. And from the feedback we've received so far, I think that we may be getting it right!”
